UEFA

UEFA, which stands for the Union of European Football Associations, is the governing body for soccer (football) in Europe. Founded in June 1954, it is responsible for organizing national and club competitions, including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA European Championship. UEFA oversees member associations, establishes regulations, promotes the game, and works to develop football across Europe. It also plays a key role in ensuring the integrity and governance of the sport. Headquartered in Nyon, Switzerland, UEFA is one of the six continental football governing bodies recognized by FIFA.
